SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

Job description:
- Management of customer order, forecast and delivery management, with a focus of OTIF, cost & customer satisfaction.
- Management and continuous improvement of key controls, specifically, but not limited to: Customer Delivery Performance, Freight Exceptions, Customer Complaints, OTIF, Transaction Reconciliation, Logistic quality data, warehouse and 3PL performance.
- Development of the process to improve its effectiveness and efficiency with a focus on reduction of manual or non-added value work.
- Allocation of resources to ensure the daily operation and necessary back up cover to achieve a smooth daily operation without customer or company impacts.
- Verify implementation of customer projects and manage LQC’s (Logistic Quality tool) through to permanent resolution internal or with 3PL’s. Ensure LQC/8D forms are processed for SCM failures or complaints.
Requirements:
- min. 2 years of experience on similar position in production plant in automotive
- Higher education
- English knowledge – communicative to advanced
- Knowledge of MS Office advanced
- Knowledge and experience of a Supply Chain environment and processes
- High capacity and level of written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of leadership and managing supervisory positions
- Intermediate level of IT skills including SAP, MS Office package and good EDI knowledge
- An additional language would be beneficial (German)
- Organizational skills, prioritizing workloads, multi-tasking and attention to detail is essential.
